Shelves of elaborate design and production
If we think on a shelf immediately relate it with a little furniture and simple aesthetic development, perhaps one of the furniture in which we give less attention to aesthetics and quality of materials.
However, this is not always the case. The range Namelessltd, designed by Pete Wycherley for Signature Design Factory, is comprised of shelves made through processes and complex integrated design and manufacturing.
The principle of this proposal is that a well-designed product should use materials and resources with aesthetic sensibility and effectively. Nothing more true.
Consequently, using a single sheet of birch plywood and a unique manufacturing process gives the original of each product unit, cutting off the shelves directly to the frame and no wasted material of any kind.
