Ron Arad, and the art of cornering

Ron Arad is one of the designers of furniture and objects found in the present. His prestige is comparable to other leading architects and designers who have been in history. Born in Tel Avid in 1951 and began his training at the Academy of Art in Jerusalem, continuing at the College of Architects of London.
His dual training in both the artistic and technical side, has been reflected in his work as an interior designer, architect and industrial designer. One Off is the name of the design studio which assembled in London in 1981, which arose from his early works, great burden for the revolutionary and innovative interior design and decoration.
It is a big fan of experimentation, which considers their work vital weapon. Arad was one of the first designers who began using the recycling technique, and just waste created several of his most remembered objects, such as the "Rover Chair", made from old car seats.
The curved lines are an obsession in their designs, which come in large measure to the criteria drawn up. Among the materials, the metal has been the most used by the original creator. She currently works as Ron Arad Associates, has completed Phase One Off in 1988. In the picture (of the gallery Friedman Benda) we can observe a design by Ron Arad, is a couch in red aluminum with suggestive forms.
