  • Choose solvent-free paints. In the market there are products especially designed for children's spaces free of lead, chromium and other heavy metals that could affect the nervous system of children.
  • Also it is desirable that the paint is odorless (or low aromatic index) because the amount of paint odor that emits a toxic gas will depend on the release. There are very efficient and ecological paints in a wide range of colors.
  • Another important detail can be easily washed surfaces, since young children are fond of writing it all or dirtying their hands.
  • It is further suggested that during the entire period of preparation before painting the wall and once the task, children do not stay in that room so as not absorb dust or odors that might affect them.
