In modern apartments can meet with two difficult problems: the lack of space and lack of light. These two aspects are not considered by the current urban functional architecture for which the idea is to use the limited space available, to the fullest.
And the only victims are the people who inhabit these small units. But do not despair, take note of these tips and you will optimize the little natural light that reaches your home at different times of the day:

- Look closely at what times you have more light, the path of the sun through the windows and the provision thereof. On that basis, put some mirrors in these strategic sites to reflect sunlight into other rooms of the apartment.
- Use upholstery, curtains and colored genres. The furniture should also be washed in pastel colors or wood.
- Replace carpet (that give a sense of weight) by pale wood floating floor or porcelain tiles.
- Pinta openings soft colors and remove all those visual dividers obstructing flow of traffic.
- If you have the possibility of placing a translucent glass opening in the roof or replacing a portion of the glass block wall.
While some solutions are more radical than others, the results will surprise you.
