One thing to keep in mind when choosing a loft bed for a young child is to avoid scraping the roof beds and instead choose the attics that are not higher than four feet. This is especially true if you're dealing with a young man who may have a slight fear of heights, since everything is higher for a child. A four-foot attic still allows a large amount of room under the bed and can be arranged to contain a great strength, a shop, or an enclosed space that is only for the child. Manufacturers of furniture 's of some children are even including specialized beds in the attic in their furniture designs that are sure to tickle your imagination' s child.

Another critical aspect to keep in mind is the safety of the loft. Ensure guard rails are stable and properly seated in bed. Also, make sure both sides come equipped with bed guard rails. Quite often, children can become trapped or fall out of bed even if two guard rails are not present in the bed. Also, check out the scale to ensure that your child will be safe as it enters and leaves her bed. Also, make sure that the scale is properly installed in the bed to avoid any accident or injury due to incorrect equipment.

Once your child has made the move in a loft bed, make time to talk to your child

about safety. Set ground rules for entering and exiting the bed and make sure your children do not play or roughhouse, you can call potentially cause injury.
