On many occasions we talked about the vintage style and the importance and success that is present both in decoration and in other sectors, for example, fashion.  Today I would like to talk in this style and how you can fit it into the kitchen, one of the rooms in which, in my opinion, better may be because they have always been rooms in which I was pleased to see old items.

The good thing about cooking is that it fits any decor while not the same you have on the rest of the household, and that is a room that needs a lot of customization and functionality as they will spend many hours that there preparing food , eating every day or having a chat with friends over coffee.

Decorating vintage style kitchen

To decorate a kitchen with vintage style furniture in shades must use clear but may take some detail in darker shade as the edges or elsewhere.  The ideal is that the furniture be single storey although those who are elevated will also be very good, so in this sense has many possibilities.  Entries must be rustic as this will stay a taste of "old" much more special.

Colors like green, white or wood is great, and you can play with various combinations also used in the walls to get much more striking contrasts, but always in bright colors to generate stay calm.  Yellow is a color that also looks great on vintage, but is not very bright tone.

Finally, it would be ideal if the appliances could be retro style for the entire stay was much more spectacular, though admittedly more difficult to achieve and they are also more expensive.  If your budget allows, invest in them and that will give a much more real and vintage kitchen.
