The offer on the market is wide frameworks, however, often difficult to decide if there is one that meets our requirements, since, after all, the result of a painting or photograph depends on their combination with an appropriate framework. Also can not find any that suit the surrounding decor, so decorate a frame to our taste might be a good option.

To build our own framework does not need more than a few boards, sandpaper, carpenter's glue, strips of wood and wire to hang it.  We begin by sawing wooden slats in the desired sizes. Once cut, the strips lijaremos with a wooden block wrapped in fine grit sandpaper. We are bringing together the slats to form the framework applying carpenter's glue on the edges and press to adhere well. You can also staple the corners where they meet to get a higher reinforcement. Corner joints not necessarily have to be mitered, we can get a nice effects just straight across, or alternating the horizontal with vertical.

To place the plate glass and the frame is essential that we serve a few thin strips of wood shorter than the frame, which keys with the hammer in the back. After finishing this, fit the glass plate and a piece of cardboard to protect the back of the canvas or photography. Finally, we can place a framework behind closed sockets in the top to put a wire to hang the picture.

The decor is open to our imagination, we must use it to achieve the effect one we like. If the frame is for a child can decorate it with characters from their favorite cartoon, or wrapping paper, even with geometric motifs, stars, or other figures such as their own fingerprint printed on its surface. We can choose other more conventional techniques for decorating, like painting, mosaic or material, or material that can give an effect more original, like crumpled paper, paper, or foil, which are more conspicuous.
