"Linked Hybrid" is a hybrid complex of buildings occupying an area of some 160,000 m2, resulting in a total of 700 apartments located in the city of Beijing. Beijing is one of those new cities within the Great Giant, in which China is becoming, which is growing vertically, with Holl proposed a small oasis within the chaos that is the great city of Beijing.

Steven Holl sees "Linked Hybrid" as a small city within the city of Beijing, conjungando all the needs of a population of about 2500 inhabitants, taking into account the culture and Chinese traditions. The complex consists of eight towers linked at the twentieth floor, arms by some hosting a range of services that make the complex itself takes a more street level, at that point, while linking the activities of different towers.

As is tradition in China, for the design of the complex were taken into account the art of Feng Shui. The complex breaks with the traditional standard of housing china, but also breaks the time and prove to be a breath of fresh air, with major construction of the new foreign Beijing.La structure was built with a process of prefabrication that has streamlined the construction process, becoming both the envelope of the towers and work structurally.

The area inside the complex is a series of green character of a semi. These spaces are giving each sector sectorizado different functional response to each type of ages: children with its playground, teenagers with sports courts, skatepark, watching television and listening to music; adulthood with cafes, Tai Chi area and tennis courts ; elderly area reading, chess and Tai Chi area, and a final meditation and pavilion area for responding to the five elements, according to tradition china.
