This house is situated on a slope in between a wooded area off the coast of Victoria in Australia. The site delivers quiet, natural setting and a privileged view.
The hill where this house is located also acts as a backup to protect spaces and provides a backup.
The advantages of the terrain provided an opportunity to design spaces that take advantage of the privileged view from all areas. For this the proposal was to branch spaces by way of a tree at different points outside the center and cantilever.
The program consists of three rooms in addition to the traditional commons. While on the first floor rooms were accommodated in the top ranked collective spaces like a living room area and kitchen, a studio and cantilevered deck that leaves about 6 meters from the center toward the ocean.
On the exterior, this house used plates with strips of wood painted in sight on the boards, technical vernacular of the '50s. The colors were chosen in 2 shades of green to help add better housing in the context.
The sculptural form, added to connect this house colors in the environment and the fuses. The 2 colors were chosen in function of the green shades of foliage making the light and shade.
