The house has been bought by an anonymous buyer, supposedly a star of Hollywood or the music that could be Brad Pitt and Kylie Minogue, who were interested in the house.
An innovative eco-housing in the nature reserve of Costwold has been sold at the record figure for a house in the field of 7.2 million pounds, slightly more than 9 million.
The design of this modern house has been inspired by the shapes of the orchid, the flower that gives its name to the house.
Construction costs will be approximately 41,000 euros per square meter.

The house was designed by Sarah Featherstone, an architect who is currently working on the Olympic village in London.
