The project is located in a valley adjacent to Quito, in the presence of the hill "Ilala" the gorge of the San Pedro River Valley Tumbaco and defining the conditions of the project.

The trapezoid-shaped lot with a sloping topography in the valley, determined to locate the project in the highest place of it; raise it also helps to provide unobstructed views toward nature and the surrounding landscape.

Response is proposed as an alternative to existing residential architecture in the country cutting sector, with a design developed from the presence and absence, inside, outside, the intervening spaces and meanings, giving equal weight to the clarity of line , harmony, light, you bet on the use of recycled materials in the structure and on the edges and divisions, existing masonry in the middle.

The construction is simple and is essentially a square base box crossed by a diagonal becomes the protagonist of segmentation both horizontal and vertical space and also defines the characteristics of the project, transparency and opacity, the full and vacuum.

The structure is formed by posts and beams and tubular steel trusses, recycled from the oil transport systems and a wall system finished off at the top with a band of glass that floats on the base cover plate constructed collaborating galvanized steel.

Transparent edges for linking outer space with the interior through glass sliders, and enables the integration of the terraces, water and vegetation.

Parking lots are located on the lower ground to street level and access to the building is expressed in a journey that enables comprehensive perception of the architectural object.
