After years of work, decided to face the construction of our study. Physically it is in a corner spot at the intersection of the streets, and Caracas Catamarca, in Martinez. The area is booming modifying the use of race horse studs for new business office and restaurants to establish himself as a new centrality in the area of San Isidro.
The building code establishes a maximum height, and retreats to respect. Due to its corner location decided that construction should proceed in that direction, so we decided to assemble a volume of metal that travel through different situations to generate the corner, both horizontally and in height. The cover up creating an entry of light, the upper floor terrace is stressed to the corner ground floor opens on one side creating a courtyard.
We decided to work with the sheet as expressive material, so as to make it factory workshop. and in turn the possibility of a quick and economic construction. Using this material that made us think how we had to work, how one could express the way they kept opening the tin, and how they should solve their endings. We consider important the resolution of the corner.
We have a space of continuous and flexible, so capable of withstanding various possible configurations, being important in this regard, the decision to locate outside of the box services. We consider important the search space according to the way we understand the work and profession, considering also the outdoor spaces as places of work or reflection. As a pedestrian situation, he was given special treatment to the sidewalk, he saw as a piece that generates half-covered road and access.
The neighboring building is low rise so it was possible to give the Mediatrix, a treatment using several slices of light they generate different effects of daylight and night.
