MVRDV "Tirana Rocks" in Tirana, Albania

Dutch architects MVRDV won the competition for the overall management of the lake district in Tirana in Albania.
The winning proposal of the Germans, Tirana Rocks, consists of a series of giant rectangular blocks, lined with stone, which simulate be huge blocks of stone have fallen from the sky.

MVRDV won the competition with other architects of the caliber of Bolles Wilson, David Chipperfield Architects and Carlos Ferrater.
