Today, Sunday August 27 was opened on 'Glass Pavilion' in the Toledo Museum of Art, located in Ohio, USA The work, done by SANAA (Kazuyo Sejima + Nishizawa Ryue) contain an extensive collection of art glass, a temporary exhibition gallery and installations made of glass.
The pavilion is located in a park in a neighborhood of homes voctoriano, including trees 150 years old. Keep the trees and 'bring them' inside the building was one of the challenges facing the architects. For that, they designed a flag consisting of a single building with courtyards in the interior, so that visitors feel walking under the trees.

The walls separating the interior spaces are formed by curved glass, so as to ensure contact Visula both the interior and the exhibits inside.
