This year, the Austrian Frederick and Lillian Kiesler Private Foundation gave its prize to the Danish artist Olafur Eliasson, known internationally for her installation "Weather Project" (Tate Modern), which has been seen by over 2 million people (the plant appears on the cover of the popular book Architecture Now! 3, published by Taschen and Philip Jodidio as curator). The jury that awarded the prize, consisting of 55,000 euros, was composed by Monica Bonvicini, Peter Cook, Gregor Eichinger, Marco De Michelis and Eckhard Schneider.
The award goes to artists and / or architects to link attitudes Kiesler experimental and innovative with his theory of 'correlated arts'.

Frederick Kiesler (1890-1965) was an Austrian-American architect who developed a career making interdisciplinary mix theory and practice. His work included architecture, visual arts, design and art. One of its main projects is the visionary Endless House (1959), where he worked with topological concepts, abrendo a new field in the architecture that currently has the most important architects such as Van Berkel Decoi or French, among others.
