This project was born from an informal conversation, for over three years ago. my friend Rene Reyes says that he had purchased land in the Cajon del Maipo, and was very excited about the location and the landscape of it. Plenty of trees and with a considerable slope seemed the perfect natural setting in which the city lost, camp and spend a day touring the length of (6,000 m2). The spot, immersed in a batch composed of around 20 similar sites without buildings, presenting a unreasonably long and narrow (200mx25m) and a slope almost impossible to handle. Given his enthusiasm for the master site, the intention of camping in the sporadic and almost zero budget, we had the idea of designing an architecture, only for him but not as a home if not the way to a shop campaign that allowed colonize a more stable, as a primary act of man to settle in the middle of the forest.

Performed entirely with materials from Homecenter virtually hand-built and this work comes from the local vocabulary, but using a global. We seek to maximize scarce 50m2 for building land. By a white envelope that folds orthogonally generated a single room of 40m2. The service program is aligned in the north façade, with a screen size of 1.30mx 8.0m, confining enclosures to kitchen and bathroom on the way to close a closet that releases the maximum possible area for flexible use.

The cover serves to turn a terrace. The mantle makes a continuous aperture of 8 m wide by showing a valley from the interior plateau and offers a protected on the forest in an over-exposed to foreign soleamiento and unsurpassed visual domain, protected by a strong wind west wall 8 × 4 m.

Everything generated by the use of a single plan offers variety of actions, almost like a piece of furniture. The orthogonality "low tech" inexpensive contrasts in the landscape dramatically and draw a signal to the distance refers to the man and his need, to live spontaneously and imperfect.
