The main objective is to achieve a comfortable building for the elderly, an area in which its users to feel comfortable, a place with which they can identify. For this reason we choose materials and finishes construction known, warm and comfortable-materials such as ceramics and wood ¬ - and, in general, a domestic architectural image and next.
The way the floor of the building carefully adjusting the available space on one of the beds of the Gardens Príncep of Girona. The building is closely related raises the park. A volume that participates in the language, materials and operation of the park. In fact, we often think of the building as a pavilion in the park, a viewpoint from which users can visually dominate the activity of the surroundings in the park and on the street.
The ground floor is permeable can pass through the building via the lobby. In fact, the building is also a new gateway between the street and inside the park. One of the squares of the park, now paved with wood, have a new access through the building.
The ceramic-covered facades view falls to the ground and lower the volume gives the image of a big portal.
The older facades of glass windows and wooden lattice, seek a certain kinship with wooden floors and furniture of the same park.
