Description
The work is a commercial office of an electricity company. Is located in a corner spot in a parallel street one block from the main avenue of Puente Alto. Aims to provide services for customers and house payments.
Plaza Corner
The project occupies the entire width of the site, which corresponds to a game of continuous facade. Tends toward a corner, giving the city a tough place to prioritizing the building of public use within their environment.
Continuity
The volume is reduced to join with the neighboring houses, lowering the height and scale to the south. To the north is kept a treaty with stucco wall that keeps the continuity to the east.
Elipse
He joined an open-air courtyard of elliptic shape, which constitutes the element of space inside the computer that hosts multiple functions. The open ellipse light inside delivery, given the width of the corridor. Vegetation features, to make pleasant the stay of the employees, as well as customers. The presence of the opening of a tree and generates different internal situations, during the passage of day and seasons.
Fireplace
The open patio creates an effect of ventilation, type "fireplace." This was exploited to create a system that low indoor temperatures in a passive way, delaying the entry into operation of air conditioning, through a system of templadores activating or closing the air currents.
