This house is located in the vicinity of Lake Laka, south of Poland and is a good example of a sustainable and respectful work environment.
Like a chameleon, this house blends with the surrounding environment of vivid colors. The wood paneling coating arranged vertically, plays with the different tones of the natural landscape. In the center stands a housing volume with black cement slabs next to a glass part that is oriented towards the South to capture as much sunlight.
In analogy with the living, housing is symmetrical on the outside and inside asymmetric behaves according to functions.
The housing is designed to be efficient and optimum use of energy in the interior to the point that 80% of the area facing the south side. The energy comes mostly through the glass patio that is in e center of the plant and from there is distributed to the various sectors. The solar collectors are on the roof and photovoltaic panels are designed to be incorporated later. Also in the central part is located a vertical volume with plates of dark cement that reaches a third level. This house consumes 1 / 10 of energy it consumes an average house in Poland.
Constructively, this design was determined by the choice of materials with a long life cycle and low costs. This housing costs not exceed the cost of a conventional housing in Poland. The details are characterized by their simplicity and good resolution.
