The land is located on a hillside north of the river valley precordilleran Mapocho. Faces the Valley Nature Sanctuary to the north and overlooks the clear and the mountains Pochoco Cerro La Paloma and El Altar. On the site, two clusters of pines, and a few almonds scattered hawthorn, are among the natural vegetation of the slope.
The project stems from the peculiarities of the territory, its slope (15 degrees), its vegetation, views, and customer requirements, a single man who helped redefine the traditional program of the house to a home where one-man from the city and live in a close relationship with the landscape precordilleran.

The topography is interrupted by a horizontal plane, 8 x 36 mts. in a north south, contrary to the height of the slope. On this platform is the most exposed organized under it, the most intimate.
The platform generates a stable and continuous surface which can extend the model on it to live outside the immediate vicinity: a bedroom for guests, a playground, a pavilion, a terrace and a pool of water, holding in total sequence length.
The guest room makes containment field and served, from the roof, access to the main level that defines the platform.

The patio, a heavy surface that rises 70 cm. on the level of the platform is defined by the existing base of a hawthorn. Under the shade of the tree provides a free collection of cactuses where birds can drop to drink water.

The pavilion is a glass enclosure under a light cover of dark sky. It is a more or less empty space, which can take many forms, which includes cooking equipment, a table and comfortable furniture. It also has some areas that accept collections of things that are natural extensions or tentacles, of the lifestyle of the inhabitant. From here, the look is directed through the glass toward the mountains, to the depth of the valley, toward the pines, to the immediate field, ie the sense of sight has a concrete vision for all areas within the territory .

The pavilion has a size such that when the person is alone can discover a sense of private land, even better if a rainy day. Accepted the flag but the sun is controlled by eaves and curtains. Two sliding windows, north and south, allowing smooth ventilation flag to wind up the valley. These runners, the continuity of the surface soil, and the extension of the eaves, accentuate the length of the inside out.

The terrace and the mirror of water, the landscape opens completely taken down the slope. The water reflects light in the sky and the flag can cool off in the heat of summer. Under the platform, falling from the flag, are arranged in a continuous loop: a bed, a bathroom, a cloakroom, a library and a bathroom for visitors, all arranged around the empty (full) that defines the perimeter of the pond . These enclosures contrast with the opening of the pavilion to be contained by upper thick walls of rough texture. Here the framing to the landscape are more focused: a long window that allows you to see the sunrise from the bed, a window that visually penetrates through the valley to the north, and walls with views of the city to the west, managed more controlled the distance between them and the more intimate landscape.
